Although this position is a 6 months fixed-term contract, the actual contract duration will be adjusted to account for the time taken to advertise the post, complete the hiring process, and finalise pre-employment checks. The maternity service at Newham University Hospital is on a maternity transformation journey. We are the busiest maternity service in the Barts Health NHS Trust group of hospitals and are looking for a special individual to join our innovative maternity leadership team.
We are looking for an exceptional individual to lead our service at Newham University Hospital part of Barts Health NHS Trust to support the digital agenda within the Better Births, Ockenden, the Long Term Plan and the 3-year delivery Plan. To Support the NHSX vision of driving forward the digital transformation of health and social care. You will support the on-going embedding of the midwifery millennium CRS system within the Trust and support in the analysis of current trends and benchmarking process flows and cultural norms for Nursing and Midwifery care across the sites.
Main duties of the job
You will join the existing post holders at The Royal London Hospital and Whipps Cross University Hospital, to support the delivery of data quality and data validation to enable the provision of compassionate high quality clinical care across Barts Health NHS Trust
You must have sufficient midwifery experience at band 6 level and have completed the teaching & assessing in Clinical Practice Module/ENB 997/998 or equivalent.
