The Clinical Lead will work closely with their Clinical Director and in a team comprising Service and General Managers, Lead Neurophysiologist and Senior nurses. As part of this team the post holder will be responsible for the delivery of the Neurophysiology services against the goals and standards for quality, safety, activity, financial management and workforce. The Clinical Lead will be required to demonstrate partnership working and collaboration with other senior leaders. Main duties of the job
The Clinical Lead will provide leadership and direction to the Neurophysiology department with a particular focus on providing high quality, safe, well-governed, productive and cost-effective services which support the trust in delivering its strategic objectives. In conjunction with the directorate leadership team the Clinical Lead will lead and direct their department(s) in delivering the priorities, goals and objectives agreed with the Clinical Director across the following domains:o Well Led - Leadership, governance, and promoting learning and innovationo Responsive - Services are well organised to meet the needs of patientso Safe - Protecting staff and patients from abuse and avoidable harmo Effective - Care, treatment and support achieves great patient outcomeso Caring - Patients are treated with compassion, kindness, dignity and respect
