Job summary
We are looking to recruit an experienced, highly motivated, and enthusiastic pharmacist who will contribute to improving the training and experience of pharmacists and trainees at Newham University Hospital. They will be expected to lead by example and work closely with clinical pharmacy teams to provide expertise in education and training.
The successful candidate will join a supportive, integrated pharmacy team, committed to delivering high quality patient care. They will have access to further educational opportunities and senior clinicians within Pharmacy and other disciplines who can provide mentorship and aid professional development.

Main duties of the job
To manage and support educational development of staff undertaking the post graduate Diploma at Barts Health NHS Trust
Ensure that the experience and training meets the requirements of the training provider and of Barts Health Pharmacy Department
Work closely with the Education, Training & Development Lead Pharmacist and the other education, training & development pharmacists.
To work with the clinical leads in implementing the Foundation Pharmacist Framework for diploma practitioners, ensuring objectives are appropriately set and that regular appraisals are carried out.
