Pre-Packing Senior Pharmacy Technician: Band 5
An exciting opportunity has come up for an enthusiastic and motivated individual to work as a Senior Pharmacy Technician at the Pre-Packing Unit (PSU) at Bart's Health NHS Trust, Pharmacy Technical Services (PTS).
PTS is a licensed manufacturing unit with three sites, Royal London Hospital which is based at Whitechapel, St. Barts Hospital and Whipps Cross Hospital.
Main duties of the job
The post holder will be responsible for assisting with coordinating all operational activities within the pre packing area based at Whipps Cross Hospital and include assisting with Scheduling and Planning of Materials Managements, Inspection & Labelling, Assembly, Repacking and Materials Management. The post holder will be responsible for ensuring that all work is scheduled, and documentation is current and updated in a timely manner in line with MHRA (Medicines and Healthcare products Regulatory Agency) audits and internal reviews.
Applicants must hold aBTEC level 3 Diploma in Principles and practice for pharmacy technicians or equivalent and must have Registration with General Pharmaceutical Council as a Pharmacy Technician
