Pharmacy Technical Services, Section Supervisor Band 5
We have the unique opportunity to offer a Pharmacy Technical Services Section Supervisor post to an enthusiastic and motivated individual who has NVQ BTEC Level 3 in Pharmaceutical Science or a relevant Science degree, who wishes to develop their technical and managerial knowledge through working in a busy Aseptic Services Unit. The unit provides a Parental Nutrition, CIVAS and a Sterile Manufacturing Service.
You will be responsible for the day-to-day supervision and monitoring of the areas and assist the senior management team to oversee the delivery of our services.
You will ensure the Quality Management System is maintained in accordance with the license requirements as documented in procedures and policies and aid development in response to changes in regulations and legislation and to improve production processes.
You will work within operational parameters, agreed standard procedures and systems of work thus ensuring a high level of GMP and safety is maintained. You will undertake operational and technical projects in support of quality improvement, operational efficiency, and cost reduction programs. This includes managing staff, processes, and use of equipment in the preparation of all products. The post includes line management responsibilities e.g. recruitment, performance reviews and sickness management, objective setting, appraisals and attendance monitoring.

You will be joining our dynamic team at an exciting and challenging time in continuing to develop the Aseptic Services Unit in line with the Aseptic Transformation Review.
