We are looking for a motivated and dynamic pharmacist to join the Pharmacy department at Whipps Cross Hospital. You will work with a team of pharmacy staff to deliver patient centred pharmaceutical care to paediatric and women's health patients across the hospital.
You will work closely with the Women's and Children's pharmacy team across Barts Health and will be responsible for optimising patient flow, medicines safety and patient outcomes and supporting the service in managing the medicines budget and achieving best value for resource. We do this through working closely with the multidisciplinary clinical teams, service management, and wider pharmacy team and demonstrating the Trust WeCare Values.
You will also be expected to contribute to the research agenda working with staff across the Pharmacy department.
Main duties of the job
The post holder will carry out the full range of duties as a Women's and Children's Highly Specialist Pharmacist to deliver patient focused, quality care, based at Whipps Cross University Hospital (WCUH).
The post holder will be supporting the hospital to deliver high quality clinical pharmacy services to the speciality and ensure that maternity has focused governance and medicines management.
