Clinical Research Fellow in Dermatology

Job summary

To provide a clinical fellow service to patients of the dermatology service; providing dermatology research assessment and to take part in commercial and non-commercial clinical trials at Royal London Hospital and Whipps Cross University Hospital (Barts Health NHS Trust). To utilise research skills for audit, policy and service development and research within the area served by the Royal London Hospital and Whipps Cross University Hospital Trust.

The dermatology service within Barts Health NHS Trust offers a range of services aimed at people who are concerned about their dermatological well-being, and for people who are living with skin conditions.

Main duties of the job

The post holder will assist the Head of Specialty in the systematic provision of clinical research services to adults and children within the dermatology service within its catchment area that it serves. This will be providing services settings namely, the outpatient Service. The post holder will be required to travel to both Whipps Cross University Hospital and the Royal London Hospital.

All junior staff will have a responsibility towards the teaching of medical students and may be requested to participate in undergraduate and postgraduate teaching. You must appear on the GMC register.
