E-Consent Project Officer

Job summary

We are looking for a Project Officer to provide project support and coordination to enable the delivery of the E-Consent platform rollout. The post holder will work within the Improvement and Transformation team, and across the Group Hospital sites with senior operational leads and clinical teams across the Trust. This will also include teams within ICT, Business Intelligence, Clinical Systems and Legal Services.This role will particularly focus on providing project management support aligned to the rollout of E-Consent across Barts Health, including driving delivery of key tasks, milestone tracking and maintenance of project documentation. The individual must be able to build positive working relationships with staff at all levels and across all professional groups.The Project Officer should have experience of working in a project coordination role with strong planning and organisational skills as well as confident communication skills. Evidence of effective delivery is a pre-requisite for applicants. This role requires an ability to work to tight timescales and to work flexibly across multiple teams and projects.Travel to different hospital sites within the Barts Health Group and to other partner providers will be necessary.The role is a fixed term contract until 31st March 2025.Proposed interview date: W/C 10th June 2024

Main duties of the job

o Develop and maintain robust project plans and documents to ensure the delivery of successful projectso Proactively liaise with team members and wider stakeholders to resolve project issues in a timely way and escalate concerns/non-delivery through appropriate governance routeso Identify relevant sources of evidence to build knowledge and understanding, including: literature reviews, case studies, surveys, structured interviewso Develop positive working relationships and use interpersonal skills to allow effective working with colleagues, partners and external stakeholderso Demonstrate strong oral and written communications, clearly presenting information to make an argumento Proactively ask for help and escalate issueso Manage own time to deliver effectively, prioritise tasks and keep managers updated with progress
