Job summary

We are looking for an inspired individual withCardiology experience to lead our 6D SpecialistCardiology Ward. The job will be suitable for seniornurses looking to advance their leadership andmanagerial career. The job offers the uniqueopportunity to bring your expertise to ensure safe andcompssionate patient experience whilst maximising ourcapacity utilisation through innovative ways.

Main duties of the job

You will be leading the staff members to deliver highquality care in our 25 bedded Specialist CardiologyWard at St.Bartholomew's site. Ward 6D managespatients with cardiology conditions such as HeartFailure, Endocarditis, Congenital heart diseases(GUCH), Inherited & General arrhythmias, Valvulardiseases and Cardiomyopathy. 6D works closely withother inpatient cardiology departments including theemergency Hear Attack Centre catering for 40 beddedCoronary Care Unit. We have 24/7 catheterisation labsoffering world renowned emergency care to cardiologypatients.

  • Rostering, Appraisal, Sickness & Performance management experience
