Job summary

This is a exciting opportunity to join the team at Barts health orthopaedic centre (BHOC) as a orthopaedic practitioner/plaster room technician (band five). BHOC is a nationally recognised orthopaedic centre delivering the highest care and customer service to a widely diverse patient population

Main duties of the job

The role of orthopaedic practitioner/plastering technician is a key specialist role. You would be working in our specifically designed plaster room located in BHOC fracture clinic. Catering for a range orthopaedic patients who require external support to aid their recovery e.g. POP, back slabs, splints. On occasions you may be asked to visit one of our inpatient wards to do the same.
