A rare and exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced, enthusiastic and driven Allied Health Professional to join The North East London and Essex Trauma Network (NELETN), on a 0.2 WTE (1 day per week) basis, to drive the Major Trauma Rehabilitation agenda across our region.
NELETN is an inclusive major trauma network with aMajor Trauma Centre(MTC)at TheRoyal LondonHospital, 11 Trauma Units and 1 Local Emergency Hospital across North East London, North Central London and Mid-South Essex.We are top performing Operational Delivery Network who are consistently in the top 3 networks in England and Wales for our patient outcomes.
This is a great opportunity for someone wanting to lead change across multiple sites at a senior level.
You will be part of the Network Executive Team and will drive service and staff development across the patch. You will also work hand in hand with our Network Lead Nurse to ensure a multidisciplinary approach to Major Trauma Care.
Main duties of the job
The North East London & Essex Trauma Network (NELETN) is responsible for the delivery of Trauma care across the region. As an operational delivery network (ODN) it is required to demonstrate compliance with standards set by the Trauma Clinical Reference Group (CRG). This includes a number of standards relating to rehabilitation, including a Trauma Rehabilitation Lead.
This individual will ensure that there is strategic and clinical leadership and oversight of rehabilitation care planning for Major Trauma Patients across the region.
