Job summary
We are looking for an enthusiastic colleague to join our dynamic service within Barts Health NHS Trust. The successful applicant will contribute to the Trauma & Orthopaedics combined rota at The Royal London and Newham University Hospital including the Barts Health Orthopaedic Centre (BHOC). This will provide experience in adult and paediatric major trauma care, as well as a full breadth of elective services.
Main duties of the job
The successful applicant will contribute to the Trauma & Orthopaedics combined rota at The Royal London and Newham University Hospital including the Barts Health Orthopaedic Centre (BHOC). This will provide experience in adult and paediatric major trauma care, as well as a full breadth of elective services.
Applicants should possess full registration with the General Medical Council (GMC) in the United Kingdom.Your role will be supported by a large team of fellows and consultants. There are numerous opportunities to get involved with teaching and research as well as completion of quality improvement projects and audit. Career development is supported through a regular registrar teaching programmes and mentoring, to develop individual portfolios and support career progression.
