HealthCare Support Worker (HCSW) position.
Rainbow Ward is a lively forward thinking unit providing services to a diverse and multi-cultural area of East London. Our 25 bedded acute beds care for children aged between 0-16 years old with a variety of medical, surgical and orthopaedic conditions.
The ward also has a busy ambulatory care unit which provides an assessment area, day care and two oncology beds.
We have a strong supportive team who will assist you with developing your experience and skills. You will be professionally and personally supported by our senior nurse team, Healthcare support workers, housekeeper, and a Family support worker. You will be able to access in-house education and a learning development Team.
We are currently looking for an enthusiastic, hardworking, computer literate and caring Band 2 HCSW either experienced or willing to learn on the job to join our award-winning Team.
Main duties of the job
The Nursing Assistant works under the direction or supervision of qualified nurses/midwives to implement care planned by Registered Professionals. The Health Care Support Worker (HCSW) is proactive in monitoring and anticipating patients' needs within the boundaries of the Job Description
