We are looking for an enthusiastic and highly motivated nursery nurse to join our busy Neonatal Unit. You are expected to work in all the areas of the ward SCBU, HDU and ITU. You are expected work as a team ensuring safe and high quality care to the babies in our care.Your role will include providing support and assistance to the families in preparation of the safe discharge of their babies.
RLH NICU is one of the busiest Neonatal unit in London providing both medical and surgical care to the babies. We have babies who born as early as 22 weeks and babies with complex medical and nursing needs. We are serving mainly the east London community but we have babies from all over London and Essex.
Main duties of the job
To work within NICU as part of the multidisciplinary team, promoting the unit philosophy of family centred care. To provide a high standard of nursing care under the supervision of qualified members of the team. To work with senior staff to assess patients, plan and implement care and maintain associated records. Ensure effective communication and close working with colleagues within the hospital, parents, carers and patients.

- Recognised level 3 qualification in childcare - Level 3 Diploma for the Children and Young Peoples Workforce.
- The Diploma in Childcare and Education or NVQ in Children's Care, Learning and Development
- NNEB / BTEC Diploma in Child Care or CACHE Level 3 Child Care and Education.
- Nursery Nurse qualification or equivalent.
