Job summary
Considering the need to improve services for children with atopic conditions, we are introducing an exciting pilot within the borough of Tower Hamlets. This post is for a senior nurse who will help develop the community atopy service to improve assessment and treatment for children with atopic conditions.
As post holder, you will have the ability to collaborate with clinicians, schools and service users and help to evaluate the service to ensure success. You will be an experienced nurse who has significant knowledge in the treatment of atopic conditions, namely asthma and eczema, and a desire to improve the clinical outcomes of those children. You will have the ability to teach and educate children and young people and their carers, using evidence-based practice and excellent communication skills.

Main duties of the job
To achieve the best health and well-being outcomes for every child referred to the Children's Community Atopy Service.
To reduce or prevent hospital admissions.
To work together with parents to produce a joint plan of care to manage the child's condition.
To enable and empower parents to look after their child with our support.
To engage and collaborate with wider services to ensure the child's condition is managed appropriately.
