Job summary
An exciting opportunity has become available in the North London Cardiac Operational Delivery Network for a Project Manager (12-month fixed term) to join the team and deliver significant change across cardiology services in the region. The post holder will be responsible for managing various workstreams and projects within the network, working with clinicians, stakeholders and partners across multiple providers and organisations to ensure provision of the best possible patient experience and service delivery
Main duties of the job
The post holder will take a lead on projects; responsibility for planning, day-to-day delivery, and subsequent performance management, adjusting plans as necessary to ensure that risks and issues are managed, and benefits are delivered. The post holder will work collaboratively with internal and external stakeholders to ensure effective management of interdependencies and effective delivery of objectives. It is expected that the projects managed by the post holder will change over time as the as the portfolio of work changes. It is essential that the post holder has experience of successful strategic management in a complex organisation, experience of delivering projects and/or service improvement in an operational environment, and the ability to work effectively across boundaries to drive change.
