Whipps Cross University Hospital part of the Barts Health NHS Trust Group is looking to recruit a Full Time Substantive Consultant to join our Neurology team based on the Whipps Cross Hospital site.
The Post holder will be expected to provide General Neurology Clinics each week at Whipps Cross University Hospital and to deliver an additional sub-speciality clinical service at the Royal London Hospital and to participate in Neurology Consultant daytime on call rota at Whipps Cross University Hospital.

- MRCP or Equivalent Specialist qualification
- Full GMC Registration with license to practice
- Entry on the GMC Specialist register (or eligibility for entry within 6 months of date of advisory appointments committee) for Neurology by CCT or CESR
Desirable
- Evidence of participation in research (peer reviewed publications etc
- Appropriate higher degree (e.g. MD, PhD or equivalent)
RELEVANT EXPERIENCE
Essential
- Broad experience in Neurology Clinics and ward work.
- Excellent clinical skills
CLINICAL SKILLS

- Ability to work as part of a multi-disciplinary team - clinical and management.
- Ability to manage staff and resources effectively
- Ability to communicate effectively with GPs and other professionals in hospital and community
