Job summary

The Informatics function is seeking a dynamic, enthusiastic, and multi-tasking Delivery Lead to join our team. As an experienced project manager/coordinator and business analyst, you will be responsible for supporting and sign-posting informatics engagement in the delivery of a wide range of Trust-wide projects and major infrastructure projects. You will assist governance from business case through to completion as part of a complex programme and portfolio of Clinical, Business Digital, and ICT Solutions to Barts Health NHS Trust, coordinating with delegated workstreams, and acting as a single point of contact.

Main duties of the job

The Informatics Operations Team are responsible for various Business and Project Support functions. In particular, the Delivery Lead will work with the Portfolio Manager and internal Trust delivery teams as well as third party suppliers and partners to oversee customer engagement across a wide portfolio of Trust Initiatives, Programmes and Projects,

The post-holder will be comfortable in managing projects assigned to them using PRINCE2, or agile methodologies and leading the informatics workstream in projects managed by other teams. You will be experienced at delivering change initiatives in busy and demanding environments, you will be skilled in leading project teams understanding of IT technologies, project governance and budgetary controls.

You will be an experienced Project Manager with a proven track record of successful project delivery, ideally with PRINCE2 Foundation qualification.

This challenging and exciting role will require you to be an excellent communicator, engaging and collaborating with all levels of staff throughout the Trust.

Experience of working within a healthcare environment or within public sector is essential. Experience of additional project methodologies would be advantageous, but not essential.
