Job summary
An exciting opportunity has arisen in the Scheduling Department at The Royal London Hospital. We are recruiting an enthusiastic, dynamic and motivated Scheduler. You will be joining a fun and friendly department with a strong focus on improvement.
Main duties of the job
To ensure provision of comprehensive and efficient booking and scheduling Service for patients that adhere to the Trusts Access policy with national and local Access targets.
The role requires the post holder to develop efficient and effective systems of work to ensure that patients experience good communication, choice and a personal and responsive service.
To provide a consistent approach across the trust, standard operating procedures (SOP) will describe how the functions of this role will be carried out along with the timescales that will be adhered.

- 5 GCSE's Minimum A-C including English and Maths or equivalent qualification
- Evidence of relevant ongoing personal development in e.g. information management, administration
- Competent use of the following IT packages; Windows Microsoft Office, including Word, Outlook and Excel
Experience

- Previous NHS experience in a role with CRS, RTT, 18 weeks experience or equivalent administrative competence developed in an associated organisation.
Knowledge

- Knowledge of emerging NHS initiatives - Patient Choice, CRS and be able to respond positively to these to ensure local implementation.
