Job summary
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a GDC registered dental nurse to join our Dental outreach team in Stratford and Isle of Dogs. The Royal London Dental Hospital services adult and paediatric patients in one of the largest trauma centres in London, providing first-class dental and oral healthcare in an internationally renowned teaching hospital.
Our outreach sites at Kenworthy Road, The Barkantine Centre and Sir Ludwig Guttmann Health and Wellbeing Centre, are extensions of The Royal London Dental Hospital. These centres provide Undergraduate Dental students the opportunity to train and practise alongside highly experienced Dental Tutors. This role will work alongside experienced Dental Nurses and QMUL University staff to provide a large variety of dental and oral health care, whilst supporting the development of future dental nurses.
Main duties of the job
The role offers development opportunities including exposure to complex treatment, working with specialist dental practitioners across paediatrics, special care and bariatrics. Opportunities to transition into some of our specialist care environments and senior specialist roles will also be supported by our senior teams.
We are passionate about supporting the development of our staff, with subscription training packages to support our nurses complete their GDC eCPD, in-house training, and support for staff undertaking post-graduate qualifications within their respective specialties.
