Main duties of the job

Glaucoma services are specifically designed to mitigate the risk of vision impairment for individuals affected by these conditions. This is achieved through a comprehensive approach that prioritises early detection and timely treatment. By identifying and addressing glaucoma at its earliest stages, we endeavour to safeguard and enhance the visual health and quality of life for our patients, ultimately aiming to preserve their long-term vision.

The failsafe processes are being expanded to include additional high-impact areas in Glaucoma care. This ensures that if any deviations occur in patient pathways, established protocols swiftly address and secure a reliable course of action.
