And we're looking for a bright, enthusiastic and highly motivated communications professional to join our team as the Design and Brand Communications Officer.
As a member of the communications team, we're responsible for promoting and defending the reputation of the Trust. We do this through strategic communications advice and support to our executive and hospital management teams, proactive and responsive media and stakeholder relations, engaging social and digital channels, creatively promoting our brand and inspiring internal communications.
Your role will be to provide a graphic design service to the Trust as well as championing the development and execution of our brand, and leading on organisation wide communications and engagement campaigns.
Utilising your specialist graphic design expertise and creative skills, you will interpret clients' briefs to deliver digital, print and film creative concepts and solutions, present these concepts to clients and stakeholders, and progress work through to final approval. You will work with print suppliers, freelance graphic designers and photographers, and film production companies to ensure all creative work is delivered to a high standard, within budget, deadlines are met and that our brand guidelines are upheld.
Main duties of the job
The design and brand communications officer will work with the design and brand manager in providing a graphic design service for the Trust as well as championing the development and execution of our brand, and leading on organisation wide communications and engagement campaigns. The role includes interpreting clients' briefs to deliver digital, print and film creative concepts and solutions, presenting concepts to clients and stakeholders, and progressing work through to final approval and print.
You will work with print suppliers, freelance graphic designers and photographers, and film production companies to ensure all creative work is delivered to a high standard, our brand guidelines are upheld, kept within budge and deadlines are met. The role also includes monitoring the design emails, keeping the design folders up to date and liaising with clients, suppliers and freelancers to ensure the smooth running of the in-house design studio.
You will also develop stationary, poster and presentation templates for staff to use that helps them creatively and easily promote the Trust's brand. The officer will also support our specialist managers and lead on our patient information.
