You will have access to training to develop your expertise in assessments for NHS staff from a variety of occupations and our corporate clients.

We have a great opportunity for a Band 7 senior Occupational Health Advisor to join us at the Employee wellbeing Service at Barts Health. You will be working with an established, friendly team that offers an innovative model to preventative health for all Barts staff.

This is an exciting opportunity to join a multidisciplinary team of occupational health specialists.

Main duties of the job

  • Work flexibly remotely and occasionally onsite
  • You will have the opportunity to undertake walk in clinics (consulting with staff on their new roles and ensuring that they have the correct immunisations requirements).
    • Providing immunisations
    • Phlebotomy
    • Monitoring of blood borne virus'
  • Complete Health surveillance. Training or updates can be provided
  • Be a case manager for management referrals, including complex dependent on experience. Current model if for no more than 6 management referrals per day
  • Take part in peer audit with regular access to teaching from experienced OHAs
  • Have access to clinical supervision and a multi-disciplinary team
  • Manage a small team of OH advisors
