Highly Specialist Pharmacist - Band 8a Women's Services
A great opportunity has arisen for an experienced pharmacist to lead women's services across Barts Health NHS.
You will lead the clinical pharmacy services to women's services across Barts Health. You will also support the development and implementation of clinical guidelines, liaising with engaged clinicians, nurses and midwives to support the effective usage of medicines. The role also includes supporting the training, development and management of junior pharmacists within the department to deliver clinical services to women's wards.
Main duties of the job
Barts Health women's services operate in 3 of the 4 hospital sites (The Royal London, Whipps Cross and Newham) and a number of community locations, including Barkentine birthing centre. The Royal London in Whitechapel is a major teaching hospital providing local and specialist services in state-of-the-art facilities. Whipps Cross in Leytonstone is a large general hospital with a range of local services. Newham in Plaistow is a busy district hospital with innovative facilities.
