Job summary

We have an exciting opportunity for band 5 ODPs or student ODPs qualifying in 2023 to join our Children's and Obstetric Theatres services at the Royal London Hospital.

The Royal London Children's and Obstetric Theatres department covers a wide array of specialities, including:

  • Complex ENT
  • Trauma & Orthopaedics
  • Reconstructive Orthopaedics
  • Spine surgeries
  • Intervention radiology
  • Maxillo Facial surgery
  • Plastic Reconstructive surgery, (specialising in post-trauma reconstruction)
  • Neonatal Surgery Complex Orthopaedics
  • Shared Airway Ear Nose and Throat
  • Ophthalmic Surgery, along with paediatric expertise to the Major Trauma service in the Southeast of England
  • Obstetric cases

Main duties of the job

You will be an enthusiastic and a motivated Registered Nurse or Operating Department Practitioner, with a passion for Trauma Care and with a commitment to own professional development, ideally with an experience of working in a busy theatre environment

You will be committed to developing your professional competence and building your skills portfolio through experiential learning and education to maximise your career prospects.If you seek a challenge, you will be joining our team at an important time of change as we continue our initiatives to improve our patients' experience at Barts Health.
