Job summary

The Clinical Systems - Data Warehouse Applications Team is seeking to recruit to this position within the existing Data Warehouse Applications Team. The successful candidate will work within a dynamic team which supports the Trust's corporate data warehouse system helping drive the Trusts reporting and operational needs.

The Clinical Systems Department has completed a large programme of technical changes which is driving further system adoption. To support this system adoption you will lead a group of Developers to deliver new datasets as well as working on developments to enhance the Barts Health Data Warehouse.

Main duties of the job

Working with NHS datasets and data models, you will be comfortable holding discussions with end users on requirements gathering and translating these into technical requirements for the Developers. You will also be comfortable with NHS PbR and commissioning and provide development and business as usual support for financial business rules and services to meet monthly reporting cycles.

You will support planning and management of your resources to deliver solutions to meet reporting national & business needs within agreed timeframes and budget.

You will be responsible for managing daily business as usual support demands to ensure smooth running of systems and includes monitoring of the data warehouse services and processes.
