Encouraging patients to take steps to regain and improve their well-being and confidence

Patient medication administration and pre- and post-operative care

Providing parents, family, and friends with emotional and physical support

Identifying the needs for patient care

Adhering to therapeutic standards to ensure the quality of care provided to patients

Ensuring that patients and coworkers follow the policies and procedures for infection control, the storage and administration of medications, and the substance use regulations

Assessing patients who complain of particular illnesses

Review and verification of vaccination records

  • At least 6 months NHS experience in that last 3 years

Qualifications

  • Degree in Nursing

  • 6 months post preceptorship experience
  • Robust clinical knowledge, strong initiative, and a proactive approach to work
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Honesty and integrity, and a caring patient-centred approach
