Main duties of the job
Barts Health NHS Trust
Consultant in Dental and Maxillofacial Radiology
Full time, substantive (10 Programmed Activities, Job shares will be considered)
This is a new post in Dental and Maxillofacial Radiology. The successful candidate will provide a range of specialist diagnostic services to patients under the care of all dental specialties within the Dental Hospital and the wider main hospital. This can include conventional plain film reporting, CBCT reporting, TMJ MRI reporting, ultrasound, sialography and interventional procedures of salivary glands. The successful candidate will also contribute to teaching, CPD delivery, clinical governance, audit and research.
Applicants must have full registration with the General Dental Council and on the Specialist list in Dental and Maxillofacial Radiology or within 6 months of CCST.

We do however encourage those in roles that have face to face contact with patients to be double vaccinated against COVID-19 (unless they are medically exempt), and are continuing to support the vaccination uptake for all staff as this remains the best line of defence
