Locum Consultant in Diabetes and Endocrinology
12-month fixed term contract
Whipps Cross University Hospital
Whipps Cross Hospital is delighted to be able to offer a 12-month fixed-term Consultant post in Diabetes and Endocrinology and General Internal Medicine.
The appointee will work alongside 5 established Diabetes and Endocrine Consultants (3 wte and 2 part-time consultants) at Whipps Cross Hospital. There is also a well-established support team consisting of 4 band 7 DSNs, a dietitian, specialist podiatry and part-time consultant psychiatry input. The team has recently moved into a newly refurbished centre with excellent IT facilities, and departmental secretarial support is provided alongside hot-desking office space. This is a 10 PA job consisting of diabetes and endocrine clinics, general medical ward cover and general medical on-call, including 2.5 SPA.
