Consultant in Vascular Surgery with a Specialist Interest in Complex Endovascular Aortic Surgery
We are seeking to appoint a Consultant in Vascular Surgery with a Specialist Interest in Complex Endovascular Aortic Surgery. This is a full-time position (10 PAs). The successful candidate will join a well-established team and will play a key role in developing aortovascular surgery services further. Candidates from both vascular and cardiothoracic surgery with extensive endovascular training will be considered for this position.

- MB BS or equivalent
- FRCS(CTh) or equivalent
- On GMC Specialist Register for Vascular Surgery or Cardiothoracic Surgery or within 6 months of obtaining CCT

- Higher Research Degree (e.g., MD or PhD)
Clinical Experience
Essential
- Training in Complex Endovascular Repair of Aorta and experience equivalent to that required for gaining UK CCT in Vascular Surgery or Cardiothoracic Surgery
- Minimum 24 months of comprehensive training and exposure in all aspects of management of aortic pathologies
- Ability to offer expert clinical opinion in management of aortic pathology for emergency and elective situations.
- Ability to take full and independent responsibility for clinical care of patients throughout their clinical pathways
