Consultant Obstetrician and Gynaecologist - Special Interest in Urogynaecology - Full Time.

Applications from experienced, enthusiastic and dynamic Consultant Obstetricians and Gynaecologists are invited for this position based at Newham University Hospital (NUH) with Special interests in Urogynaecology. The successful candidates will work in the Women and Children's division at NUH which is part of Barts Health NHS Trust; one of the largest NHS Trusts in the UK. This is a substantive full-time post, for a maximum of ten programmed activities [10 PAs].

Main duties of the job

The successful candidate will join an established team of 16 Obstetricians and Gynaecologists and complement all departmental services. The post holders will be supported by a multi-disciplinary team of midwives, nurses and consultant colleagues. The department works collaboratively with the other sites in the Trust. There is scope for further collaborative working with GPs in the community.

The positions require appropriate training and experience in antenatal and intrapartum care with evidence of completion of relevant ATSMs, as well as relevant training and skills in urogynaecology. Candidates must be able to demonstrate the ability to manage their workload in an organised manner as well as work well under pressure.
