Junior Clinical Fellow in Obstetrics and Gynaecology
Applications are invited for the above post based at the Royal London Hospital to commence on 6thAprilfor six months which could be extended to two years on a good review. This post provides an excellent opportunity to train and develop clinical skills, which would be ideal for junior doctors wishing to consolidate their clinical skills in preparation for ST3+ O&G trainee applications.
Main duties of the job
The post holder will participate on the three-tier on call rota for both obstetrics and gynaecology. Applicants are encouraged to work as a valued member of a high functioning team committed to professional development. The Royal London Hospital women's health centre specialises in maternal medicine, endometriosis and high-risk obstetrics with a co-located level 3 neonatal service. Possession of MRCOG part 1 or equivalent and a MINIMUM of 4 months experience in hands-on obstetrics and gynaecology, is a necessity and candidates without any obstetrics and gynaecology experience will NOT be shortlisted.

We do however encourage those in roles that have face to face contact with patients to be double vaccinated against COVID-19 (unless they are medically exempt), and are continuing to support the vaccination uptake for all staff as this remains the best line of defence.
