Job summary

Senior clinical fellow in Obstetrics and Gynaecology with a Specialist interest in high-risk obstetrics.

Applications are invited for the above post which offers advanced module specialist training in risk obstetrics, intrapartum care and maternal fetal medicine. The clinical training is for a fixed period of 1 years and is based at the Royal London Hospital.

Main duties of the job

The post is suited to a highly motivated and enthusiastic individual with an interest in the higher training needed to become an Obstetrics and Gynaecology consultant with a specialist interest in high-risk obstetrics. The successful applicant will be based at The Royal London Hospital, but may be required to attend operating theatres at Whipps Cross Hospital and Newham University hospital, also part of Barts Health NHS Trust.

Applicants must currently be working as a speciality registrar, senior clinical fellow or post CCT and should possess the MRCOG or equivalent.There is the opportunity for suitable applicants to be offered a 2 year post to facilitate completion of ATSMs or research activity.
