Job summary

As a Senior Project Manager, you will be responsible forleading a number oftransformation, service improvement, financial and productivity related projects within an assigned Division and lead on Trust-wideworkstreams and projects.

The Senior Project Manager will also contribute to the delivery of the Trust's strategy and annual planning processes. Success in this role will require the post holder to work closely with clinical and operational leadership colleagues, including the Divisional leadership triumvirate and will contribute directly to the success of the Division in delivering sustainable quality,performanceand cost improvement.

The Senior Project Manager willoperate as a member of a dynamic PMO team, which provides specialistexpertise, delivering an effective, high quality, professional and well coordinated programme managementand transformation function.

The role is for 4 days a week covering 30 hours.

Main duties of the job

The role carries specific responsibility for:

  • Being a key member of the Divisional leadership team and be confident to actively lead and support the identification,developmentand implementation of transformationopportunities at Divisional and specialty levels.
  • Managing and delivering multiple complex projects which support the Trust's transformational programmes
  • Establishment, oversight,challengeand support to the Trust's transformation work-streams, including those associated with the Trust's Cost Improvement Programme, strategydevelopmentand annual planning processes.
  • The Senior Project Manager will have extensive project management experience, managing the delivery to best practice standards, as well as the ability todevelop and influence the adoption and implementation of project standards across the Trust.
  • Line management of 1 x Project Support Manager
