We are looking for a dynamic, motivatedBand 6 Speech and Language Therapistto join our established Stroke Therapy Team, providing high-quality assessment and intervention across theacute stroke unit and bedded rehabilitation unit.
This is anew andexciting opportunity for a therapist with stroke experienceConfident in clinical decision-making around dysphagia and communication rehabilitationto deliver high quality care across our Stroke pathwayincludinga new specialised Stroke Rehabilitation Unit based in a community setting.

Main duties of the job
Main Duties of the job
To provide an effective and efficient speech and language therapy service to adults in bed based setting. You will manage a specialist adult caseload in this clinical area. Duties will include providing a specialist level of clinical expertise in the assessment, treatment and management ofadults with swallowing and/or communication difficulties, planning therapy programmes and discharge of patients.
