Job summary
Under the support and guidance of Pharmacy and Practice staff the candidate will undertake routine duties of a mainly technical nature. The post is a training position, and applicants are required to follow the West Midlands Student Pharmacy Technician Training Scheme. The two-year training provides a level 3 Diploma in principals and practice for Pharmacy Technicians and an NVQ 3. Progression to year two of the program is conditional on successfully completing year one and through a structured rotational training program
The candidate will be based at Dudley Group Foundation Trust
Main duties of the job
Evidence competencies in the workplace to achieve apprenticeship and complete the learning organised by the training provider using the allocated weekly study day and self-directed study in personal time.
Ensure knowledge, attitudes, behaviours and fitness to practice are in line with the General Pharmaceutical Council's Standards for Pharmacy Professionals during Apprenticeship in order that they can seek a declaration of competence to register.
