Band 5 Speech and Language TherapistAre you a new qualified or experienced band 5 Speech & Language Therapist and would like to join our team?

An exciting opportunity has arisen to work within the supportive environment of the Community Speech and Language Therapy Team in the Dudley Rehabilitation Service, based at Stourbridge Health and Social Care Centre.
The position will involve the assessment, management, and treatment of patients with both communication and swallowing difficulties, in their own homes and in clinics . You will work closely with colleagues from the wider specialist multi-disciplinary teams to provide excellent high-quality care to our patients and in return will benefit from excellent development opportunities.

Main duties of the job
To manage a defined Speech and Language Therapy caseload independently.To work with adults with dysphagia. Support will be provided to complete RCSLT NQT Competencies.To provide a Speech and Language Therapy expertise to adults with acquired communication difficulties.
To participate in the development and delivery of training to others within the team.
To supervise Speech and Language Therapy students.
