Job summary
To act as a point of contact for users with Bank queries i.e., Bookings/cancelling of bank shifts, pay queries and agency queries.
To act as local reference for all Rostering and Bank Leads, provide information on system updates for users and update the systems as necessary.
To provide efficient administrative support to the Staff Bank, Electronic Rostering & Locum Bank Team, as and when required.
To provide efficient administrative support to the Rostering & Staff Bank Manager, responsible for the Electronic Rostering and Bank Systems.
To maintain and regularly update relevant spreadsheets and booking systems in terms of new starters, leavers, or any other changes.
To liaise professionally and appropriately with internal and external customer/clients.
To assist in the implementation of the Allocate Healthroster system throughout the Trust.
Produce reports from the E-Rostering system for all relevant stakeholders as and when required.
The successful applicant will be expected to work as part of a team Rota which provides a seven day a week service.
Main duties of the job
To act as first point of contact for all users with regards to queries regarding Staff Bank & Rostering.
To provide efficient and effective administrative support to the Rostering & Staff Bank Manager.
To act as a point of contact for all Rostering and Bank Leads, providing information on system updates and update the system as necessary.
Liaise with internal and external customers, agencies regarding booking shifts, cancelling shifts and ward / departmental requirement changes via telephone, e-mail, or any other appropriate method.
To assist with meeting all targets set by our regulator when booking shifts and record call/booking agency information daily for reporting purposes.
To maintain and regularly update systems in terms of starters, leavers, changes and to maintain an accurate and up to date filing system of personal files.
Communicating with outside agencies and internal departments and establishing/maintaining a working relationship.
Set up reports scheduler to collect data on behalf of the Rostering & Staff Bank Manager.
Conduct training sessions for newly appointed staff within the department when necessary.
Flexible working - Hours/days of work may change to meet service needs with some weekend working required.
