Job summary
This is a Trust Doctor (non-training) Level 1 post equivalent to FY2/ST1, fixed term, working on General Medicine Ward (with the possibility of rotating to different medical specialities).
Main duties of the job
Duties include:
- Continuous assessment and review of patients
- Completing ward rounds and jobs under consultant/registrar supervision; performing procedures according to competences; communication with patients/family
- Participate in the on-call rota.
- Contributing to the clinical governance - audit, service improvement projects, teaching rota.
- To participate in Continuous Medical Education (CME) and maintain a portfolio for revalidation.
- Maintain mandatory training.
