Job summary
The Dudley Group NHS Foundation Trust is embarking upon some exciting changes in the HR Operations team and we invite any budding HR Professionals to join us on this journey.
HR Advisors work as part of the HR Operational team providing support and guidance to managers around wellbeing, managing attendance, advising on terms and conditions of employment and resolving employee relations issues.
The role would best suit someone who has experience working in a similar role and/or someone who has a HR qualification such as a degree in Human Resources and/or CIPD qualification. However, we can consider offering the post on a trainee period for 12 months where full on the job training and support can be offered. Unfortunately, we are unable to offer funding the CIPD qualification for the next 12 months at least.
Main duties of the job
The main duties of the job include:
- General advice to managers and staff on HR policies and terms and conditions of employment
- Supporting attendance at work through wellbeing advice and managing sickness absence
- Supporting Divisions with achieving their mandatory training and compliance rates
- Supporting disciplinary, grievance and bullying/harassment processes via informal resolution initially or full investigation where necessary
- Supporting management of organisational change
- Undertaking job evaluation
- Reporting on key workforce information
- Policy development work
- Training managers and staff on HR policies
- Ad-hoc project work
