A fantastic opportunity has arisen for a physiotherapist with extensive MSK clinical experience to lead and develop the physiotherapists, occupational therapists and Assistant work force to optimise therapy outcomes, working closely with the team to drive quality improvement and support and develop the staff through clinical supervision and mentorship.
Excellent communication skills, strong leadership ability, and enthusiasm for the development of innovative ways of working, ensuring a high quality and effective service will all be required. You will link and work with a variety of stakeholders to achieve this goal.
In addition, you will work closely with the Head of Therapies and other therapy leads to ensure the strategic objectives are met.
Main duties of the job
- Undertake all aspects of advanced physiotherapy practice in MSK field as an autonomous practitioner acting as a clinical expert and role model within Acute Therapy and wider MDT workforce including OT colleagues.
- To take the lead role in the day-to-day delivery of high-quality physiotherapy and occupational therapy, managing resources and conflicting priorities.
- Demonstrate expertise in four pillars required for advanced practice whilst enabling others to develop and reach their goals
- Evaluate clinical practice in conjunction with Therapy Lead and take actions to contribute to continual quality improvement and positive patient outcomes.
- Role model positive, inclusive and compassionate leadership.
