Job summary
An opportunity has arisen for a member of staff to join the Professional Development team as a Core Skills Manual Handling Assistant. We are looking for someone who is passionate about supporting continuing professional development, able to support in the facilitation and delivering of Manual Handling Training to Trust staff.
GCSE in Maths and English at Grade 3 or above (or equivalent such as Functional Skills/O Level/CSE) and NVQ/Diploma Level 3 in Care/Clinical Healthcare Support are all essential for this role and you will have to provide your original certificates to progress. We particularly welcome applications from candidates with a Care Certificate or the willingness to achieve this while working for the Team.
Main duties of the job
The Core Skills Manual Handling Assistant will support the Core Skills Lead alongside the Core Skills Manual Handling Training Lead in assisting with facilitating and delivering a comprehensive Manual Handling training service to the Trust.The post holder will be required to communicate effectively with other members of the Professional Development Team and the wider workforce. The postholder will support continuing professional development through supporting the delivery of relevant programmes of education and training across the Trust.The Core Skills Manual Handling Assistant will work alongside the Professional Development Team and Core Skills Team and assist in their development by promoting and delivering education-based practice that is underpinned by the most up to date evidence
