Following a successful application for additional resources to our Adult Safeguarding Team, we have an exciting opportunity for a proactive, highly skilled Registered Nurse, who can demonstrate effective leadership and established safeguarding experience and expertise, to join our highly regarded and experienced safeguarding adult team.
You will work in the Safeguarding Adult Team and in close partnership with the Safeguarding Children Team and the newly formed Complex Vulnerabilities Team, providing a high level of expertise, support and guidance to The Trust and professional leadership for both corporate and operational staff, trainees and volunteers in all matters pertaining to Safeguarding Adults.
Main duties of the job
Act as a resource of knowledge and expertise, cultivating a strong work force with sound safeguarding practice
Ensure the delivery and monitoring of safeguarding procedures throughout the Trust and support the Head of Safeguarding in providing assurance that the Trust is meeting its statutory safeguarding duties set out in The Care Act (2014) and the Care Quality Commission Core Standards.
Provide specialist advice and supervision to all Trust staff and work closely with Safeguarding Children's Named Nurse Team and the Complex Vulnerabilities Team to ensure there is an effective and robust interface between children and adult safeguarding.
Drive forward recommendations and promote safeguarding as a core service within the Trust, and communicating the message that safeguarding is "Everyone's responsibility

- Degree/Diploma in Nursing or relevant health or safeguarding related subject
- Teaching and Assessing qualification or experience of delivering and evaluating training

- Completed or working towards a masters level qualification
