Job summary
We are looking for an experienced Advanced Physiotherapist who is passionate about delivering consistent, high quality care for patients with MSK conditions. They must have significant leadership experience & be knowledgeable about the opportunities within MSK speciality.
The post holder would be working closely with the Head of Therapies, Therapy Lead & the current APP team to drive forward clinical governance alongside developing new initiatives across the MSK pathway. The post holder would develop good working relationships with our primary care, CCG & secondary care service leads as well as involvement in national MSK networks.
The service comprises of APP's, band 5-7 Physiotherapists, Therapy assistant & Administrative team. The service is responsible for managing MSK referrals from primary care & has an established FCP service.
This is a great opportunity to influence and support transformation in Dudley's Community MSK service & the wider MSK pathway.
Main duties of the job
To provide visionary clinical leadership in the co-ordination, planning, delivery and evaluation of MSK care provided throughout CMAPS & the wider integrated healthcare system. This will involve working in community locations & across the region to ensure high quality, patient focused care & the adherence to safe seamless patient pathways.
To provide a source of high-level expertise and clinical leadership in the management of MSK conditions to the team & wider workforce.
To act as a professional and managerial lead for the advanced MSK team supporting the operational running of the service, communication and links with PCNs and Acute Services. Representing CMAPS at clinical meetings within the trust, STP & Nationally.
To lead on the implementation of national & local strategies in relation to MSK & FCP, including the implementation of the HEE roadmap for FCP and APPs.

- Masters qualification or working towards in relevant subject
- Evidence of CPD maintained in portfolio including attendance at recent postgraduate courses
- Post graduate qualification in musculoskeletal injection therapy
- Evidence of x-ray, MRI and blood test interpretation

- Post graduate qualification in ultrasound
