Job summary

To provide a comprehensive nutrition and dietetics service in the Acute setting including in-patient visits, out-patient clinics and clinics in General Practice, provided within available resources. This post will provide some cover for ITU/PN service.

We need an experienced, enthusiastic and motivated individual to join our team as a Band 6 Dietitian.This post offers an exciting opportunity to be part of the friendly Nutrition & Dietetics Department for Dartford & Gravesham NHS Trust.The post will involve providing a comprehensive nutrition and dietetics service in the acute setting, including medical and surgical wards, out-patient clinics, clinics in General Practice and staff education programmes. You will be actively involved in supporting Band 5 Dietitians, Dietetic Support Workers and clinical placements of student Dietitians. We are looking to recruit an enthusiastic, confident and highly motivated individual to this post. This is a role for a Dietitian looking to move in to their first senior role and develop skills within the field of complex nutrition support in acute adult medicine, surgery and HDU.

Posts based at the Queen Mary's site will receive 15% outer London allowance and 5% fringe allowance for posts based at Darent Valley Hospital on top of basic salary

  • Minimum of 18 months post-graduate experience in general Nutrition and Dietetics
