Job summary

The post holder will have a key role in providing the administrative support to the Governance and risk management agenda within the division, supporting patient safety, patient experience, clinical effectiveness and high quality care within the Trust working across the Radiology, Children and Young People Services and Gynaecology directorates.

The post holder will work closely with the Divisional Governance Manager to provide a positive and supportive governance management culture throughout the women, children and radiology division. The post holder will assist the Governance Manager to embed the corporate governance framework and oversee the divisional compliance with statutory, regulatory and best practice requirements in relation to governance and quality, promoting a positive and open risk management ethos.

Main duties of the job

The post holder will:

Deal with routine enquires and information of a sensitive nature. Communication could be 1:1 and/or in groups. (For example working the managers to presenting empirical data to the governance groups or the staff meetings)

Liaise with the patient, their families and necessary others to ensure understanding of relayed information.

Liaise with external health care providers to ensure accurate information is provided.
