Job summary
An exciting opportunity has arisen in the Infection Prevention and Control Team in light of the new Elective hub and requiring admin for our surveillance system ICNet. We require a Band 4 surveillance assistant to work predominately on the Winchester site but there will be some cross site working especially whilst learning the role.

Main duties of the job
To provide an infection surveillance service, encompassing all aspects of the healthcare-associated infection surveillance programme including undertaking ward-based surveillance.
To supply required data to Public Health England and act as a contact point for the agency to feedback comparative data. To assist with reporting mechanisms to boards i.e. Divisional Governance, Infection Prevention and Control Committee.
Administrative duties on the Infection control surveillance system ICNet.
