Job summary
The Catering Department at Hampshire Hospitals (Winchester), provide meals to patients and staff. Duties will include the plating of patient meals, cleaning and sanitizing of the catering premises and equipment, and working in our on site restaurant. We are looking to employ someone who goes the extra mile, and really cares about offering our patients an excellent service, and who is willing to learn new skills and gain new knowledge to support our service.
It is a multi-purpose role in which the post holder may be required to work across any of the sections within the Catering operation.
Main duties of the job
The Bank role is flexible, offering you the choice to request shifts when you want, making it great for students and those with commitments. Various shifts are available (breakfast, lunch and supper)
There may also be opportunities to work in our restaurant.
We will offer you a full induction and training and uniforms and PPE are provided.

- Good standard of education or equivalent experience - equivalent to GCSE at grades 4-9, A-C, NVQ level 2 or equivalent experience
- Basic Food Hygiene Certificate or willingness to undertake
- Level 2 Certificate in Undertaking Nutrition and Health or Willingness to undertake
Desirable
- Level 2 Certificate in Cleaning Knowledge and skills
Experience and Knowledge

- Previous catering experience including basic food handling and prepartion
- Experience of working in a customer facing role
