Job summary

Assisting the band 3 Cardiology Administrator in the busy Cardiology administration office at Basingstoke hospital.

We are looking for candidates who have:

  • Excellent administration skills
  • Experience with Microsoft Office packages
  • Ability to work autonomously as well as part of a team
  • Motivation to complete all tasks in a timely fashion
  • The ability to communicate in a friendly and approachable manner

Main duties of the job

Delivering a booking service for our Cardiac patients primarily the diagnostic ECGs and Chest Pain Service. Working closely with our Cardiac Investigation team to ensure our patients are booked against both the 18-week pathway and targets for Chest Pain review.

The post holder will be part of the Cardiology administrative team, working in a busy environment, but supported by the team around you.

Training will be provided on the systems that are used at HHFT
