Job summary

The Associate Practitioner in Mammography, is a trainee post in the Breast Screening Department, Royal Hampshire County Hospital, Winchester.

You will undertake a 1 year training course, that will enable you to take mammograms mainly on the Breast Screening mobile vans, situated around Hampshire, but also at Winchester hospital, in symptomatic clinics.

You will work as part of the Breast screening team, providing a high quality screening service to the women of Hampshire.

Main duties of the job

The main duties of the post are taking mammograms, working as an assistant in the breast ultrasound room, working in the office, and processing images on PACS.

The Candidate must have good communication skills, be able and willing to complete the training, and enjoy working with other people within the team.
